Because of travel restrictions and a ban on meeting in large groups to avoid spreading the COVID-19 virus, the face-to-face STC 2020 Summit that had been scheduled to be held in Seattle's Eastside in Bellevue, Washington, was cancelled. STC's 2020 Technical Communication Summit Conference & Expo is going virtual on 17-20 May.

Under this year's theme "Career Vision 20/20", the Summit's content is focused on information to help you stay in control of your career and your professional goals. STC is committed to offering a robust conference experience, including education sessions, keynotes, vendor showcases, and networking opportunities in support of your technical communication career.

What's included with my registration?

Full Summit registration includes access to all education and keynote sessions, virtual receptions, scheduled virtual meetings with venders in the Expo Hall, and a variety of engaging virtual networking opportunities.

The virtual conference platform will enable live, moderated Q&A with presenters, as well as on-demand sessions that will be available during the event. Virtual networking spaces will facilitate conversation and collaboration. And, attendees will be able to explore the virtual expo hall and schedule time to meet individually with vendor representatives.

This year the virtual Summit will be recorded, and attendees will have a pass to all on-demand sessions during and after the conference with their virtual registrations. This means access to over 100 sessions, not just those you would have been able to attend in person.

NEW THIS YEAR! All virtual Summit attendees will also receive the full Summit OnDemand after the event. This provides attendees with over 100 sessions that can be viewed later at your convenience and shared with colleagues.

Attendance at the 2020 Virtual Summit provides 8 CEUs toward CPTC currency. CEUs apply only to those who are certified and cannot be counted retroactively.
