About the STC Alliance Competition

This year, the competition was planned and organized by representatives from seven STC chapters: Atlanta, Chicago, New England, New York, Rochester, South/Central Texas, and Washington DC-Baltimore. Competition entries were received from STC members and non-STC members across the nation. The competition is open to everyone in the field of technical communication and winning entries included STC members and non-STC members.

A total of 29 STC members and nonmember professionals volunteered to judge the entries. The judges were divided into 10 teams to evaluate the 32 total entries. The judges came from participating and nonparticipating chapters and SIGs as well as independent professionals representing various fileds in technical communication. Please join us in thanking all the dedicated judges listed on the Competition Judges Alliance 2024 page.

Of the 23 total awards in the competition, the Washington, DC-Baltimore chapter is proud to say that 17 of the winning entries were from WDCB Chapter entrants, which includes the Best of Show!
