Highlights from the Volunteer luncheon on Saturday

The chips and salsa were tasty and the atmosphere was festive. The volunteers and chapter officers (past, present, and incoming) celebrated a successful chapter year at Guapo’s Mexican restaurant in Bethesda on Saturday.

Some of the high points we shared included: celebrating the chapter’s Excellence award, honoring the chapter’s new Associate Fellow, David Dick and Distinguished Chapter Service Award recipient, Kathy Bine.

Our success this year was due to the many chapter volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to ensure that we have successful competitions and events. We simply could not do this without our volunteers. On behalf of the WDC chapter, I humbly thank each and every volunteer for giving their blood, sweat, and tears!
