Join us to kick off our mentorship program. Plus, compete to win a free membership!

Join us to kick off the new STC Washington, D.C.-Baltimore chapter mentorship program. We recently established this program to help chapter members who want to further their existing career or enter a new career in technical communication.

As a part of the program, a mentor will be happy to provide feedback on your resume, portfolio, and cover letter, or provide guidance on how to take the next steps within your career journey. We are here to help as you aspire to move into the next phase of your career.

To kick off this program we are holding a special competition. During the event, you will be given 30 minutes to communicate a technical concept through writing or illustrating, which we will then judge. Two winners will receive a one-year STC membership. We will give away one Student membership and one Professional and Academic membership.

Keep in mind, you must be a chapter member to participate in the mentoring program, but anyone can win a free membership through the contest.

Hope to see you there, and good luck!
