ABOUT THE WEBINAR

Dr. Ugur Akinci will share all the tips and tricks on how to leverage on-demand self-publishing via Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). Attendees will have the opportunity to publish their first book on the KDP platform in real-time.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Dr. Ugur Akinci is an award-winning technical communicator. He has worked for Fortune 100 companies such as ADP, Fannie Mae, and Honeywell since 1998. Ugur specializes in preparing software documentation and his background includes desktop publishing, print design, and working as a journalist covering the United States (U.S.) Department of State, and the U.S. Congress.

Ugur is a current member and a past president of the Washington D.C.-Baltimore chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC). He devotes his professional life to mentoring new technical writers, and providing technical writing training through his web site tcc6.com. Ugur is an Associate Fellow of STC, and plans to continue learning, writing, and sharing.
