First Friday Lunch (Nando’s PERi-PERi in Old Town)

6 Feb 2015 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm UTC-5

| Free

Even if you’re not an adventurous eater, you will find something you like at Nando’s PERi-PERi in Old Town Alexandria. According to a random reviewer on Yelp, it’s a Portuguese-Mozambican-South African flame-grilled chicken restaurant, popular in South Africa and other international locations. It fits right into the DC food scene and is quick to boot, so great for a Friday networking lunch. If you aren’t much into chicken, this writer’s mother highly recommends the Roasted Veggie Wrap. Check out their menu for all of the details.

Your host and our chapter’s new president, Sean Stevenson, is looking forward to chatting with you about career topics big and small. Speaking of size, Sean will likely tower over the other patrons there, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to find him. He will also be looking for you and will let the restaurant’s host know that he is expecting a group.

As usual, a ticket on EventBrite is free but lunch isn’t. At Nando’s you pay at the cash register and they bring the food to you. Note that the restaurant is a bit of a walk from the King St. Metro station. You may want to scope it out and see if walking, driving, or taking Uber is the best option for you.

Bom Proveito! (Enjoy your meal.)
