Content Strategy to the Rescue!

Tuesday, September 22, 2015, 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM

1515 N Courthouse Road, Arlington, VA

6:00 Networking
6:30 Presentation
7:30 Post-meetup social time

To be successful, content creation must be part of a larger business solution that is relevant to an audience. But how do we go about identifying that solution to begin with? How can we rally support to our cause and build out a solution that will attract, engage, and convert traditionally isolated users to large-scale, sustainable, knowledge-sharing practices?

Come hear about how Opower’s Knowledge Management team is using their content strategy powers to tackle their biggest content strategy project to date: breaking down operational knowledge silos to enable consistent knowledge sharing at scale.

You will learn:
• Useful techniques for breaking even the largest and most villainous content problems down into manageable chunks.
• Guidelines for sustainable content creation and collaboration.
• Guidelines for policies that your team can use when creating reusable content for large groups such as templates, workflows, hierarchies, and other resources.
