ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

There are many ways to understand, manage, and measure our work—the amount, types, timing (when work comes in), priority, risk, etc. We often align our approach with the team or business we’re supporting. This session is for technical communicators working in teams using Agile methods to develop a product or system. This session will focus on the following two methods under the Agile umbrella:

1. Scrum

2. Kanban

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Marsi Fein works on the people side of technology change, using organization development, technical communication, and project management skills. She has a KMP II, Kanban Systems Improvement certification, from Kanban University/Excella. Marsi is also a certified Project Management Professional, PMP, and has a master’s degree in public administration. Most of what she knows comes from ongoing learning outside of these formal programs and certifications.
