Access to the OnDemand 2020 Summit will be available through 31 August

Just in case you missed it, STC's 2020 Technical Communication Summit & Expo was completely virtual. You now have the option to view all the recorded sessions on demand at any convenient place and time. Access to the OnDemand Summit will be available through 31 August. With just over 90 sessions, you could invest one to two hours a day and view all the sessions presented. Registering for the OnDemand Summit provides 8 CEUs for CPTC currency.

The OnDemand Summit website has registration information and the descriptions of the recorded sessions on the Full Schedule page. The recorded sessions are on a separate website. The next business day after you have registered for the OnDemand Summit, you’ll receive the logon information for the OnDemand Summit site.

The Washington, DC – Baltimore Chapter (WDCB) is happy to announce that Richard Bogacz was given an STC Distinguished Chapter Service Award.

His citation reads:

For your exceptional leadership of our competition, events, and chapter over several years, and your encouragement and support as a mentor in our profession.

This award acknowledges the work of chapter members who provide exemplary service to the Society through their dedication to the chapter and its activities. Recipients are selected on the following basic criteria:

  • Length of chapter membership
  • Consistency of service over the time of chapter membership
  • Variety of service to STC
