Summit 2014 cityscape

We invite you to contribute your ideas, studies, experience, and expertise at our Technical Communication Summit 2014, the 61st Annual Conference of the Society for Technical Communication. The Summit is 18-21 May 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona USA.

[NOTE: We will be updating the full Summit site with information specific to Phoenix in the coming weeks, but are leaving most of the Atlanta information present so you can see the types of presentations and events you can expect at the Summit.]

The Technical Communication Summit is an international meeting of professional technical communicators at all levels, from beginners to seasoned veterans. It fosters industry-leading technical communication by stimulating information exchange, cultivating research, and serving as the primary source of education for professional technical communicators. The Summit is a gathering of technical writers, editors, illustrators, managers, information designers, architects, content strategists, instructional designers, usability and user-centered design practitioners, researchers, and students.

Program sessions within the Summit will represent the latest business trends, communication techniques, technologies, approaches, and solutions. The work you are doing is an important element in the education process, and we invite you to share it with Summit attendees. We expect to receive more than 200 session proposals, so the competition for space on the program is tough. There are several types of sessions, so please consider the presentation type that best fits your topic and your presentation style. If you have any questions, please contact the Program Advisory Committee [email hidden; JavaScript is required] or Conference Committee for more information.

Proposals are due 5:00 PM EDT (GMT-4), Monday, 16 September 2013. All proposals must be submitted through our online submission system. Good luck, and see you in Phoenix!
