STC has negotiated a special conference room rate of $169 for a single or double and $179 for a triple or quad; you must register through the STC Summit website, http://summit.stc.org, to get that rate.

According to the hotel's website, the Hyatt Regency Atlanta boasts “true southern hospitality” in welcoming its guests. A recent $65-million upgrade included adding “new chic, studio-style rooms.” Nearby attractions include Peachtree Center Mall, Georgia Aquarium, Georgia World Congress Center, AmericasMart, CNN Center, Phillips Arena, and the Georgia Dome.

Dining and entertainment options at the hotel include the 24-hour self-serve Market; Sway, a unique restaurant featuring three chef-driven menus; and Twenty-Two Stories, a celebration of Atlanta’s past, present, and future.

Reduced Room rate extended to 15 April!

Special conference room rate $159.00 (plus 15 percent tax) for single or double accommodations. Make your reservations at the Hyatt’s group booking page for the 2009 STC conference. (Note: the Hyatt booking page has not been updated with the new rate, but you will be given the new rate if you specify you are registering for the STC conference.)

Recognizing how the recession is affecting meetings for all associations, Hyatt Regency Atlanta has responded to STC’s request and has lowered the STC conference room rate from $174 to $159 for single or double accommodations. Individuals who have already reserved rooms for the Summit will automatically get the lower rate.

The early bird deadline for conference attendance has been extended to 21 April. The early bird discounted rate is $795, which is $300 less than the onsite registration rate of $1,095. Split payments are accepted.
