Metro Baltimore Chapter Event: PhotoShop for Writers

Speaker: Sam Gallina
Where: Historical Electronics Museum
When: December 10, 2008
Time: 6:00pm to 8:30pm

In this day and age, we can no longer be simply called Technical Writers. We wear many hats, from editor to illustrator. The world is changing and technology is making it easier for us to become Technical Publication Experts. Adobe Photoshop is the graphics design tool for bringing out the best in your digital images and transforming them into anything you can imagine. Graphics expert Sam Gallina will show us how to use Photoshop to bring out the best in our artwork. He will discuss tips and tricks, as well as an overview of a few helpful processes. Join us for an evening of useful tips and tricks that will not only help you at work, but help you edit your digital photos from your family, friends, pets, or latest vacation.

Cost: $20 for Members, $23 for Non-members and Walk-ins.
Menu: Chicken Fajitas or Stuffed Shells. Served with Garden Salad, Chips and Salsa, Pita Bread, and Garlic Bread. As usual, we will provide a light dessert.

RSVP to meeting@mbstc.org or pres@mbstc.org (recommended – for headcount only)
